Orange County Indian Wedding Photographer – Braja Mandala bio picture
  • Welcome!

Inspired by the rich hues, ancient culture and religious traditions of the East, I specialize in extraordinary South Asian weddings. My roots in the Hindu religion gives me the insight to understand the true meanings of the wedding ceremonies. A passion for South Asian weddings and creating one-of-a-kind moments is the driving force of my photography. I want, more than anything, to help every bride and groom to create a photography experience that reflects their own unique perspectives.

I love capturing unexpected moments and extraordinary details.

San Diego Style Weddings Feature

With the help of their fabulous vendors, listed below, Nina and William’s beautiful Estancia La Jolla wedding has been featured in San Diego Wedding Style Magazine. Their wedding was like a dream. Their reception was filled with bright hues of purples and dripping in bling. Two of my favorite things were the head table by Jennifer Cole and the dessert table by Nora’s Baklava and Wedding Elegance by Nahid. The head table was unlike any I had seen, it was covered with flowers from top to bottom, even the four legs of the table were completely covered in flowers. Being a girl who loves sweets I of course loved the sweet table with baklava and chocolates.

Winter wonderland wedding details

Details are one of my favorite things about weddings. This head table design by Wedding Elegance by Nahid and Shawna Yamamoto took my breath away. The whites and blues used in the head table reminded me of a winter wonderland, a fabulous one at that.

Ceremony Magazine Feature

Ben and Nancy held their wedding at The Santaluz Club. I love to photograph weddings at the Santaluz Club. The tented wedding reception and outdoor wedding ceremony makes for a beautiful Southern California setting.

Don’t you just love the accents of red that Wynn Austin wove into their wedding decor. The floral headpiece for the flower girl created by Kathy Wright is so adorable. Love it when the kids get a little something special.

One of my favorite things about photographing cultural wedding is the tradition that they incorporate into their ceremony or reception. Nancy and Ben chose to have traditional Chinese Lion Dancers perform for their guests. They are traditionally thought to bring good luck and happiness to the newly wed couple.
