Being a wedding photographer I get to travel a lot to help capture the wedding memories for my clients. Stephanie and Vik are from New York and wanted to have a destination wedding. Being that they are food and wine enthusiasts they wanted to have their wedding in Santa Barbra and chose one of the most premier locations, the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbra.

Their wedding was a weekend full of celebrations. Stephanie and Vik had a multi cultural wedding with their Catholic ceremony on the first day and their Hindu ceremony on the second day. Their Catholic ceremony was held at the Old Mission Santa Barbra. It is a beautiful mission with a lot of history. The Santa Barbara Mission was established on the Feast of Saint Barbara, December 4, 1786 and was the tenth of twenty-one California Missions to be founded by the Spanish Franciscans. It is still an active parish which has tourists visits daily and is known as the “Queen of the Missions” due to its grander and placement atop a mountaintop.

Stay tuned for our Part II where we share their second day of celebrations at their Hindu ceremony.
